Our story
Tackle the hard problems
We founded Retro 87 with a simple philosophy: tackle the hard problems. While many agencies focus on standard implementations, we specialize in the complex technical challenges that keep CTOs awake at night: scaling infrastructure, payment compliance, security audits, and architectural migrations.
We do not just build for clients. We build, ship, and operate our own software. aweradio.app, our multi-tenant Radio-as-a-Service platform, is a live deployment we run end to end. We have also designed and shipped an automotive payments platform with Stripe Tap to Pay on iPhone, CarPlay integration, and GDPR-compliant payment workflows.
That operational depth feeds back into client engagements. We know what it takes to keep production software running because we run our own.
Based in the Nordics with an expanding presence across Europe, we bring Nordic values of transparency, reliability, and quality to every project we undertake.
